A Healthy Weight for the Holidays |
As seasons
change and the holidays approach, many people will start eating more and exercising
less. Although eating a second serving may not seem dangerous, a healthy weight
is vital to a body’s well-being.

lose focus of our healthy lifestyles,” explains Lewis Pincus, D.O., an
osteopathic internal medicine specialist and medical director of the Methodist
Health System Weight Management Institute in Dallas, Texas. “While we
convince ourselves that we are only enjoying the season, we set a lower standard
of health.” More. |

care delivery, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) is being proactive
in a quest for improvement. for this reason, 2004-2005 AOA President George
Thomas, D.O. has declared his presidential term as the “Year
of the Patient–Patient-Centered Quality Care." More.
