Welcome to General Services Administration Rocky Mountain Region. Since 1950, GSA has been in the Denver area providing products and services to their customers. GSA leases, manages and owns 650 properties that total over 16 million square feet of space in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, South Dakota and North Dakota.

A message from the Regional Administrator

Welcome to the General Services Administration’s Rocky Mountain Region.

It has truly been a pleasure to lead this dynamic agency for the past two years.  Our region is comprised of six beautiful states that make up the second largest geographic area in the country.  Our workforce is diverse, engaged and constantly looking to improve our culture and the service we provide to our customer agencies.

As Regional Administrator, my top priority is to follow the President’s Management Agenda.  The five components of the Management Agenda are:  Strategic Human Capital Management, Competitive Sourcing, Improved Financial Performance, Expanded Electronic Government, and Budget and Performance Integration.  It is my commitment that we will achieve this important plan and we have already made some exciting and significant strides in each of these areas.

Look for us to further sharpen our focus in the area of customer service.  More than ever, our impetus in the coming months will be to keep lines of communications refined and we will strive to keep a proactive posture with you and your business, mission, and initiatives.  Each year, our Leadership Team makes it a point to visit with our top customers in the region.  Those in the highest levels of regional leadership make these visits.  Our customer agencies look to GSA to provide the services and solutions that make it possible to do their jobs.  In these times of budget constraints and watchful spending it is especially important to meet and have open discussions about how we can best serve your needs.

GSA Region 8 is in the process of consolidating and streamlining our business processes within the Public Buildings Service, the Federal Supply Service and the Federal Technology Service.  One way this is accomplished is through the collaboration of special events.  A recent example of this new collaboration was the 2003 GSA Colorado Showcase, held in Denver during the month of July, in which participants received free training on a variety of issues and also had the opportunity to view many of the products and services GSA and its industry partners have to offer.  This collaboration results in increased taxpayer savings, better customer service and decreased vendor costs.

Another way Region 8 can serve you is through the Rocky Mountain Region Small Business Utilization Center (SBUC).  The SBUC is happy to provide you with counseling, information, and resources that will help you secure contracts with the Federal Government.  We continue to receive accolades for our achievements in the area of small, minority, and woman-owned procurements.  In fact, Region 8 is the only region nationwide to award an Architecture and Engineering Contract to a woman-owned business.

Please take the time to explore our web site to learn more about what we have to offer.  We’re here to serve you and your organization’s needs.
