Key Staff Edwin E. Fielder, Jr. - Regional Administrator, Southeast Sunbelt Region

On December 4, 2001, Edwin E. Fielder Jr. was sworn-in by Administrator Stephen A. Perry of the General Services Administration as Regional Administrator for the agency's Southeast Sunbelt Region.

Most recently, Fielder was employed by CB Richard Ellis, Inc. where he managed a diverse facility management portfolio for Delta Air Lines. Prior to 2000, Fielder was a Director of Property Management for Carter and Associates and a General Manager for COMPASS Management and Leasing, Inc. In 1997, he retired from active duty as a Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Fielder graduated with a bachelor's degree in building construction from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta in 1977, later earning a master of business administration in management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California, in 1983. Additionally, Fielder is a 1994 graduate of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College in Quantico, Virginia. In 2001, he qualified as a Facility Management Administrator and a Real Property Administrator after completing coursework at the Building Owners and Managers Institute in Arnold, Maryland.

Originally from Rhode Island, Edwin. Fielder currently resides in Marietta, Georgia, with his wife, Cindy. They have two daughters, Aubrey and Arianne.
