Key Staff David L. Bibb - Deputy Administrator

With GSA for nearly 32 years, Bibb joined GSA’s Atlanta office as a management intern in 1971. Most recently, Bibb’s duties as Deputy Associate Administrator of the Office of Governmentwide Policy's Office of Real Property included the direction of policy and regulatory development for the acquisition, management, and disposal of real property and workplace assets of the federal government.

Bibb has held several executive-level positions at GSA including Assistant Commissioner for Planning and Deputy Commissioner, both with GSA’s Public Buildings Service. He has received numerous awards for his service, including the Administrator's Distinguished Service Award twice and the Presidential Ranks of Meritorious Executive and Distinguished Service.

Bibb graduated from Austin Peay State University in 1970 with a bachelor’s of science degree. He earned his master’s of science degree from Florida State University in 1973.

David Bibb and his wife, Rebecca, reside in Lake Ridge, Virginia. They have two adult children, Elizabeth and Jonathan.
