The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with representatives of AmerenUE/Union Electric Co. on Monday, April 22, to discuss the results of the agency's annual assessment of safety performance at Callaway nuclear power plant. The facility is located near Fulton, Missouri, and is operated by AmerenUE.

The meeting, which will be open to the public for observation, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Capitol Plaza Hotel, 415 McCarty St., Jefferson City. NRC staff will be available before the meeting is adjourned to answer any questions from the public.
