Each year the federal government honors individuals and organizations for their significant contributions to the efficient use of energy and water resources at federal facilities. The U.S. Department of Energy, in conjunction with the Federal Interagency Energy Policy Committee ("656" Committee), sponsors the Federal Energy Management and Water Awards in order to recognize outstanding energy-saving achievements.
