Native American Business Center
Mission The national Native American Business Center (NABC) will reach out to the Native American/Alaska Native community by supplying facilities, supplies, and technology to support economic prosperity and streamline the acquisition process. In addition, the NABC will provide the Native American and Alaskan Native communities with resources and information that will assist them in learning how to obtain government contracts and marketing their product. Finally, the NABC will coordinate Native American and Alaska Native populations with federal, state, and local agencies, businesses, and industries in providing contract opportunities throughout Indian country. What does the Native American Business Center do?
Who will benefit from the NABC? Customers: The NABC will develop Indian Nation business by providing its customers access to the full range of services and products offered by GSA's Public Buildings Service (PBS), Federal Supply Service (FSS), and Federal Technology Service (FTS). Vendors: The NABC will reach out to and partner with Native American and Alaskan Native-owned businesses to build relationships, increase revenue, and expand market share. NABC will also assist in the development of small businesses and subcontracting opportunities with Tribal organizations and enterprises. Other Agencies: The NABC will coordinate efforts with agencies that have similar business initiatives including the Small Business Administration, the Minority Business Development Agency, Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Bureau of the Census, the Indian Health Service, and the Federal Communications Commission, as well as other federal, state and local government and non-governmental entities.
