Fight BAC!® is a food safety education campaign of the Partnership for Food Safety Education, a non-profit organization representing all aspects of the food industry as well as government and consumers. Fight BAC!® strives to educate consumers on four simple steps they can take to fight foodborne bacteria and reduce their risk of foodborne illness.

National Food Safety Education Month®
September is National Food Safety Education Month®. Restaurants and foodservice operations, hospitality associations, colleges and universities, federal, state, and local government agencies, and consumer organizations across the country participate in NFSEM in a variety of ways each year.
