The DSAS application is a computer-based reservation system that makes scheduling and monitoring appointments for drop shipments easy and convenient for Plant-Verified Drop Shipment (PVDS) mailers.

Schedule appointments for PVDS mailings for entry at 455 sectional center facilities (SCFs) and 21 bulk mail centers (BMCs) |

Inquire on the status of the drop shipment (i.e., vehicle arrival date/time, unload information, and facility processing performance) |

Create, modify or cancel appointment profiles up to 12 hours before the expected arrival time |

Access postal contact and facility information to increase your drop shipment opportunities |
Simply register online to become an approved DSAS user or contact the destination entry office and ask the appointment coordinator to create the appointment for you. After that, the accepting postal facility will complete the appointment record with van arrival and unload information. The appointment "Close-Out" data can then be accessed on the DSAS web site any time or day of the week.
