The NATIONAL LIGHTNING SAFETY INSTITUTE. This is an excellent
overall site. Due to legal issues, I cannot create a direct link to the

If you are interested in knowing if lightning struck at or near your residence
on any day of the year since about 1989, you can contact a company called
Vaisala. This is the company that operates the cloud to ground lighting
system in the United States and supplies lightning data to the National
Weather Service. Due to legal issues, I cannot create a direct link to
