Foreword
Soldiers is the U.S. Army's official monthly magazine, published and distributed in printed form to an audience of more than 1 million readers. Soldiers provides timely and factual command information on topics about the Army to the Army. Our audience includes active, National Guard and Reserve soldiers, retirees, civilian employees and family members.
We focus on Army people, what the Army is doing around the world and in local communities, new equipment, and on new policies, trends and ideas within the Army. Both features and news items must have strong photo or graphic support. We do not run poetry, first-person accounts, awards notices, essays, cartoons or professional dissertations.
