The 5 A Day For Better Health Program is a national nutrition program to encourage Americans to eat 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables every day for better health.  5 A Day is sponsored by the National Cancer Institute in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services , and the Produce for Better Health Foundation , representing the fruit and  vegetable industry.  5 A Day programs are implemented in every state and U.S. territory.
