As Montana’s
senior U.S. Senator, I’m pleased to provide you with this website
so you’ll always have up to date information on current legislation
and what’s happening in Congress.
I’ve also included information on a wide variety of constituent
services available to you, including applying for an internship or fellowship,
requesting a flag be flown over the Capitol, or gathering tourist information
for a trip to Washington, D.C. Please don’t hesitate to send me
an email or contact my office with any comments or concerns you may have.
I encourage you to contact one of my state offices closest to you to request information about pending Congressional legislation, government reports or national issues, and relate a problem you may be having with a federal or state agency. A caseworker will get the information, and may act as a liaison with the government agency. My office can resolve communication problems, paperwork glitches, and get your problem back on track with the appropriate agency.
Please send a detailed letter describing your problem and the Privacy Release Form to any of my state offices:

As I represent our state in the 108th Congress, I do so with only one
yardstick: What’s right for Montana.
My top priority continues to be working together to create more good-paying
jobs for Montanans. That’s why I’m working together to pass
a new highway bill that will bring even more highway dollars and good-paying
jobs to our state. The federal highway program is not only one of the
biggest sources of economic growth and jobs for our state, it also keeps
our roads safe and efficient.
I’m also committed to ensuring that the 2003 Medicare Bill is implemented
quickly and fairly. As vice chairman of the Senate Finance Committee,
I plan on using my seniority and leadership to make sure all Montanans
have access to quality, affordable health care.
I’m
also working to:
- Boost
federal funding for education to keep class sizes small and provide
a world-class education for our children
- Pass my
Jobs Act that will cut taxes for Montana manufacturers and includes
new small-business tax provisions that will create jobs
- Get country-of-origin
labeling up and running to give a boost to agriculture producers and
consumer confidence
We have a
busy Congress ahead of us and I’m committed to working together
with Senator Burns, Representative Denny Rehberg, Governor Martz and the
leadership of the Montana Legislature to make Montana an even better place
to live, work and raise a family.
On a final note. If you are visiting Washington, remember to stop by my
office for the Montana Breakfast. I hold these breakfasts every Wednesday
the Senate is in session. They are free and open to all Montanans.
All the best!
