November 16: The Senate stands in adjournment under the provisions of H.Con.Res. 518
until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 16. At 12:00 noon the Senate will be in a period of
morning business until 12:30 p.m. with Senators permitted to speak up to 5 minutes each.
At 12:30 p.m., the Senate will stand in recess until 2:15 p.m. for the weekly policy
luncheons to meet.
At 2:15 p.m., the Senate will beign executive session for the consideration of executive
calendar #915, Francis Harvey to be Secretary of the Army as provided under the previous
order.
The next roll call vote will occur at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, if all
time is used. That vote will be on the nomination to position of Secretary of the Army.
For the information of all Senators, if it is necessary for the Senate to reconvene prior to
November 16th, Senators will be given ample notice.
