Pushes FTC to End Delay of New Yorkers' Free Credit Reports
US Senator Charles E. Schumer today pushed the Federal Trade
Commission to stop threatening New Yorkers with a 17-month
delay of their right to access free credit reports. In a letter
to FTC Chairman Timothy J. Muris, Schumer wrote: "There's

FTC should come up with a fair way to implement this plan

Schumer has posted information about how to register objections
with the FTC and offers draft text for New Yorkers to download
and send as emails or letters to the FTC. Read
