    Chronic Back Pain

    A research study of an investigational medication for people with low back pain. Volunteers between 18 and 70 who have had persistent moderate to severe low back pain for the previous six months and who have taken one of the following analgesic medications daily during the past 30 days prior to the study screening: NSAID, COX-2 inhibitor, acetaminophen, tramadol, or opiod may be eligible. Research site located in Anaheim, Calif.

    Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis

    A research study evaluating the effect of celebrex (celecoxib) in patients with recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP). Volunteers 18 or older who have required three or more surgical procedures to remove laryngeal papillomas in the year prior to study enrollment or who have tracheal disease may be eligible. Research site located in New Hyde Park, NY.

    Hot Flash

    A research study testing an investigational non-hormonal oral medication for the treatment of hot flashes. Menopausal women who have had no menstrual period for at least 12 months and are not currently on hormones or are willing to stop hormonal treatment may be eligible. Research site located in Denver, Colo.
