    Lung Cancer

    A study is under way comparing two medications for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer that is refractory or resistant to platinum and Taxotere chemotherapy.

    Volunteers 18 years old or older who have histologically confirmed non-curable non-small cell lung cancer with surgery, radiology, or combined modality chemoradiation and who have failed two prior chemotherapy regimens including a platinum based therapy and Taxotere may be eligible to participate.

    Research sites are located throughout the United States.

    Kidney Disease

    A research study is being conducted for a medication to treat kidney disease.

    Volunteers 18 to 75 years old who have been diagnosed with kidney disease, have no history of dialysis or transplants and are able to participate in overnight, in-house stays may be eligible to participate.

    The research site is in Austin, Tex.

    Allergy (Pediatric)

    A is under way to evaluate an experimental allergy medication.

    Children 2-5 years-old may be eligible to participate.

    There is a four week study treatment period with the option to continue for an additional 6 months.

    The research site is in San Antonio, Tex.
