    Brain Metastases

    A research study of conventional radiation therapy plus thalidomide vs. conventional radiation therapy for multiple brain metastases. Volunteers at least 18 years old who have an estimated survival of at least eight weeks and have at least three brain metastases or a lesser amount with at least one metastasis greater than 4.0 cm may be eligible. Research site located in New Haven, Conn.

    Gastroparesis

    A research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of gastric stimulation in the reduction of nausea and vomiting in patients with gastroparesis, using an approved humanitarian device. Volunteers at least 18 years of age who have been diagnosed with gastroparesis due to diabetes or an unknown cause (idiopathic) may be eligible. Research site located in San Francisco, Calif.

    Prostate Disorders

    A research study of an investigational medication for the treatment of chonic prostatitis. Volunteers who suffer from chronic prostatitis and have the following symptoms: chronic pain below waist, fullness in perineum and bladder, painful ejaculations, burning when urinating, and frequent urinating may be eligible to participate. Research site located in Brighton, Mass.
