The Services Acquisition Center is one of seven specialized buying centers within GSA's Federal Supply Service.  Its goal is to provide a broad spectrum of professional services to its customers within the federal government, specializing in the service areas of finance, marketing and professional engineering.  The center's procurement professionals design and implement multiple award schedules (MAS), also known as Federal Supply Schedules or GSA Schedules, that provide the federal community with direct access to industry experts.  In addition to negotiating contracts under the MAS program, the Services Acquisition Center is also responsible for the Multiple Award Contract for the federal government’s charge card program called GSA SmartPay®.

When agencies decide to use the Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) to procure services, they can do so quickly and efficiently because the Services Acquisition Center has already done the contracting legwork.  Agencies save time and money when they use the GSA MAS program, and they can be assured that their procurement will comply with all applicable regulations and be a best value.
