    Chronic Back Pain

    A research study comparing the safety and effectiveness of the FlexiCore(tm) Interverterbal Disc to spinal fusion surgery for patients who have pain associated with degenerative disc disease (DDD) at a single level in the lumbo-sacral spine (L1-S1). Research sites located throughout the United States.

    Migraine and Cluster Headaches

    A research study of an investigational medication to treat migraines. Volunteers 18 to 65 who suffer from migraines and have had two to eight moderate to severe migraines per month for at least the last six months may be eligible. Research site located in Marietta, Ga.

    Genital Herpes

    A research study of an approved and commonly prescribed medication for genital herpes. This investigational use is a 1-day therapy, as compared to the standard 5-day treatment. Volunteers 18 or older who have been diagnosed with genital herpes may be eligible. Research site located in Laurel, Md.
