    Ulcers

    A research study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an investigational medication designed to prevent rebleeding in patients with bleeding peptic ulcer disease after successful endoscopic hemostatic therapy. Men and non-pregnant women at least 18 years of age may be eligible. Research site located in San Diego, Calif.

    Anemic Cancer

    A research study to evaluate the efficacy of an investigational medication in reducing the need for red blood cell transfusions in cancer patients with anemia who are not receiving chemotherapy. Volunteers at least 18 years old who have non-myeloid malignancies and have anemia due to cancer may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

    Sleep Disorders

    A research study of an investigational drug for women between ages 40 and 60 who find it difficult to fall asleep due to menopause. Women who take more than 45 minutes to fall asleep, who sleep less than six hours total a night, and are peri-menopausal or menopausal may be eligible. Research site located in Philadelphia, Penn.
