Magazine, Media and Aviation-Safety Presentation

Are you interested in a different presentation for your safety stand-down or safety-training session? The Mech and Approach editors have a one-hour  multimedia presentation on the history of the magazines,  how to submit articles and get them printed, and segments on previous aviator and maintainer mistakes, with ORM and CRM-MRM discussions.  This entertaining hour is designed for maintainers and aviators.  The session will make you laugh one minute, cringe the next, and will leave you with a memorable message about aviation safety and the stories that have made it to these magazines.

The Naval Safety Center does not fund this two-person show, so your command must provide minimum funding.  The team travels cheap: Air fare (or a ride on your aircraft), a BOQ room,  a government vehicle, rental car or POV mileage, and, of course, per diem (the Approach editor is an ex-P-3 NFO). We can arrange to do multiple presentations for various commands at one site or in a particular area, saving time and money.  If your command is searching for a different show for your next stand-down and wants an opportunity to meet the editors, please contact Dan Steber at (757) 444-3520, ext. 7247, e-mail: danny.steber@navy.mil, or Jack Stewart at (757) 444-3520, ext. 7257, e-mail: jack.stewart@navy.mil.
