Citizen Relationship Management 1(800) FED-INFO National Contact Center

FCIC manages a toll-free National Contact Center with specially trained staff to answer questions in English and Spanish about all aspects of the federal government. The National Contact Center handled two million calls and processed 60,000 e-mails in fiscal year 2003. Last year, testing showed that 50 percent of the e-mails sent to agencies remained unanswered after two weeks. Compare that to a two business-day response time for USA Services!

The public can get help by calling toll-free 1 (800) FED-INFO (1-800-333-4636) between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time to speak to a live agent. Recorded information on popular topics is also available around the clock.
