Events 2004 Ordering Officials Survey

Beginning June 25, 2004, GSA’s Public Buildings Service (PBS) will conduct the 2004 Ordering Officials Survey. This survey was developed to assess how well PBS provides services to customer agency officials that order products and services from PBS. The survey is delivered via telephone and can be completed in 10 minutes.

The survey asks ordering officials how well PBS has provided a variety of services including construction, leasing, facility management, and building security. This survey will also measure attributes important in any business transaction such as timeliness, responsiveness, ease of doing business, work quality, and PBS awareness of customer needs. The questions are scored on a scale of 1 to 5. Three groups from each agency—agency leadership, billing, and ordering officials—are surveyed using different sets of questions.

GSA will be surveying customer agencies that were last surveyed in fiscal year 2002 and who are the largest agencies nationally. This will allow GSA to compare the results to the 2002 baseline. Customers from the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, Treasury, Veterans Affairs, Social Security Administration, and the Administrative Office of the Courts will receive this year’s survey.

The Gallup Organization will administer the survey and will notify customers in advance.  A quick 10 minutes is all it takes. GSA encourages participation because   this feedback helps improve customer service!.
