Strategic Vision and Marketing Department (Code 08)

This
department provides
public affairs guidance in coordinating internal and external information,
media relations, community relations, and marketing services to support
the Naval Safety Center mission and strategic plans.
|
|
Strategic Vision and Marketing proudly serves the military and civilian
members with a complete line of marketing products and services. Below are
the major functions:
- Advise Commander on matters relating to strategic and operating
plans.
- Administer the marketing program designed to enhance public
relations between the Navy, Marine Corps, Naval Safety Center, and
general public, as well as civic, state and national agencies.
- Conduct on-site marketing surveys and briefings for Navy and Marine
Corps commands.
- Research and write safety messages for the Commander.
- Issue press releases regarding the command and its personnel and
activities.
- Develop and implement community relations program.
- Coordinate conferences, meetings and exhibits.
- Research and design presentation materials for the Commander.
- Design and develop strategic plans, operating plans, fact sheets,
and annual reports.
- Design posters, literature, and brochures promoting safety
