AT&T; Will No Longer Market Itself as a Home Long Distance Provider

AT&T; long distance customers can keep their service, and AT&T; will continue to accept new customers. The company announced that it is merely shifting its focus away from traditional consumer services such as wireline residential telephone services, and concentrating its growth efforts going forward on business markets and emerging technologies, such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
