Women's Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century
Summit
The Women's Entrepreneurship Summit on September 23, 2003 was a fabulous
success! Over 1,000 women small business owners attended the Summit to hear
from federal and local leaders across the country on various topics of interest
to women entrepreneurs, such as access to capital, marketing tips, acquiring
federal contracts, and entering global markets.
In addition to the many keynote addresses, breakout sessions,
exhibitors, and plenary sessions, the Summit featured a feedback session from
participants that addressed their concerns, challenges, and policy and
practical business interests in the coming years.
You
can view the PDF document with all the questions and results here. Many
thanks to Marianne Hudson of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and Kellyanne
Conway of the polling companyTM/ WomanTrend, who conducted these polls.
