About GSA
Schedules Small Business Administration Goals

Small Business Administration (SBA) strongly supports the participation of small business concerns in the Federal Supply Schedules Program. Starting with Fiscal Year 1999, SBA policy has allowed agencies to include in their procurement base and goals, the dollar value of orders expected to be placed against the Federal Supply Schedule contracts, and to report actual Schedule acquisitions as accomplishments against these goals. For more contract information about submitting an agency's small business goals electronically, visit the Small Business Administration's website. www.sba.gov

Catalogs/pricelists, GSA Advantage!, and the Schedules e-Library contain information on a broad array of products and services offered by small business concerns. This information should be used as a tool to assist an agency in meeting or exceeding established small business and 8(a) goals. It should also be used as a tool to assist in including small, small disadvantaged, 8(a) small businesses, veteran owned small businesses, disabled veteran owned small businesses, and women-owned small businesses among those considered when selecting pricelists for a best value determination.

Reminder: For orders exceeding the micro-purchase threshold, customers are reminded to give preference to items of small business concerns when those items satisfy agency requirements at the same delivered prices as items offered by other than small business concerns.
