Bridge Replacement Projects and Road Closures
Bridges on secondary park roads will be replaced beginning in September:

  • Moose-Wilson Road will be closed October 4, 2004 at 7 a.m. through April 30, 2005, from the intersection at the Death Canyon access road to the Granite Canyon trailhead parking area. The closure is necessary to replace Lake Creek Bridge, which lies 2.5 miles north of the Granite Canyon Entrance Station. more>>

  • The Lupine Meadows Bridge, providing access to Lupine Meadows trailhead, will be closed from October 1 through April 30, 2005.

  • The Climber's Ranch Bridge, near the Highlands housing area, will be closed from September 22, 2004 through April 30, 2005.

Northern Grand Teton National Park and John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway
Expect daytime delays of up to 30 minutes, seven days a week, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., on Highway 89/191/287 between Leeks Marina and the south entrance to Yellowstone National Park. This road construction project will continue through October.
