Services

  • The Navy and Marine Corps parachute safety program is comprised of the Navy Premeditated Personnel Parachute Program (P-3) and the USMC parachute safety program
  • Provides at no cost to the unit, personnel and cargo parachute equipment and operations safety surveys/assist visits for commands with an airborne or airdrop capability as requested by the Commanding Officer
  • Manage the data repository for all personnel parachuting and equipment airdrops conducted in the Navy and USMC
  • Collect and analyze all personnel parachute and airdrop equipment malfunction and incident data
  • Provide an on-site advisor in the conduct of safety mishap investigations on all class A & B and selected C & D personnel parachute and airdrop equipment malfunctions and incidents
