DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

            General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Maine, is being awarded a $444,884,060 firm fixed price requirements type contract for commercial parts for the following engine lines: T64, T58, TF39, TF34, F118, F404, T700, F110 and F101 with various estimated quantifies for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force.  Performance completion date is expected to be July 30, 2005. Contract funds will expire by end of current fiscal year.  There was one proposal solicited and one responded.  The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va. (SP0400-00-D-9403)

 

ARMY

 

            Esterline Armtec Defense Inc., Coachella, Calif., was awarded on Oct. 20, 2004, a $21,185,869 firm-fixed-price contract for M206 Countermeasure Flares and MJU7A/B IR Countermeasure Flares.  Work will be performed in East Camden, Ark., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 24, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 17, 2004, and three bids were received.  The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-04-C-0096).

 

            Kilgore Flares Co. L.L.C.*, Toone, Tenn., was awarded on Oct. 20, 2004, an $18,432,443 firm-fixed-price contract for M206 Aircraft Countermeasure Flare and the MJU7A/B Infrared Countermeasure Flare.  Work will be performed in Toone, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 17, 2004, and three bids were received.  The U.S. Army Field Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (W52P1J-04-C-0097).

 

            CamelBak Products Inc.*, Petaluma, Calif., was awarded on Oct. 20, 2004, a delivery order amount of $10,761,777 as part of a $16,853,350 firm-fixed-price contract for Personal Hydration Systems.  Work will be performed in Petaluma, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 20, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on June 28, 2004, and two bids were received.  The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W91CRB-05-D-0001).
