            Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $24,970,326 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-2105) to exercise an option for FY05 Advance Planning in preparation for USS George Washington (CVN 73) Drydock Planned Incremental Availability (DPIA).  Contractor will provide advance planning, design, documentation, engineering, procurement, ship-checks, fabrication, personnel training, and shipyard work necessary to prepare and make ready for accomplishment CVN 73 DPIA.  Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed by January 2005.  Contract funds in the amount of $23,331,835 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

            Lockheed Martin Systems Integration, Owego, N.Y., is being awarded a $15,608,572 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-03-G-0014) to provide Block 3A Armed Helicopter Phase III non-recurring engineering efforts required to finalize the armed helicopter weapons system integration of avionics and support software into the MH-60S helicopter.  Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in August 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

 

            Kellogg Brown & Root Services, Arlington, Va., was awarded on Oct. 19, 2004, $9,000,000 for Modification 15 to Task Order 0002 under a cost reimbursement, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity emergency construction capabilities contract (N62470-04-D-4017) for Hurricane Ivan stabilization effort at Naval Air Station Pensacola.  The work includes initial dry-in and dry-out of facilities damaged by Hurricane Ivan.  Award of this modification brings the total task order amount to $36,794,259.   Work will be performed in Pensacola, Fla., and is expected to be completed by January 2005.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 59 proposals solicited, three offers received and award made on July 26, 2004.  The total contract amount is not to exceed $500,000,000, which includes the base period and four option years.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity.

            Bell Aerospace Services Inc., Bedford, Texas, is being awarded a $5,358,434 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N68335-03-G-0003) for the procurement of H-1 Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) Logistics services for the Lot I and Lot II low rate initial production (LRIP) aircraft.  These services consist of establishing Logistics Management Information (LMI) requirements for contractor hardware logistic planning, analysis, configuration management, development, and delivery through the Acquisition Logistics Support (ALS) process.  Work will be performed in Hurst, Texas, and is expected to be completed in October 2006.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.

 

            Advanced Information Engineering Services Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $5,246,051 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity time-and-materials contract (N00421-00-D-0126) to provide technical, engineering, management, and financial support services for the acquisition and production of F/A-18A-F and EA-18G aircraft for the U.S. Navy and the Governments of Spain, Canada, Germany, Australia, Finland, Malaysia, and Kuwait.  The estimated level of effort for this option is 85,579 man-hours.  Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed by May 2005.  This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($3,161,270; 60.26 percent); and the Governments of Australia ($644,215; 12.28 percent); Canada ($439,619; 8.38 percent); Finland ($435,947; 8.31 percent); Kuwait ($315,288; 6.01 percent); Malaysia ($193,579; 3.69 percent); Spain ($48,788; 0.93 percent); and Germany ($7,344; 0.14 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
