Building and Managing an Inclusive Workforce Workforce diversity has evolved from sound public policy to a strategic business imperative?and our leadership curriculum is keeping pace. In our core leadership seminars managers and executives learn to make diversity an organizational advantage. This seminar is for individuals who have responsibility for supervising or managing an inclusive workforce, and who want a better understanding of how to build and manage a high-performing workforce. The seminar focuses on how to treat diversity and inclusion as an important organizational advantage for public organizations. Participants form a learning community that challenges, takes risks, explores new behaviors, and works through conflict to gain insights. They learn to take advantage of differences among people as an asset for peak organizational performance. New ways of speaking and problem solving are explored, shifting from indirect language to straight talk, from debate to dialogue, from ineffective problem solving to effective resolution.
