AoA Grant Programs

Grants.gov

The new Grants.gov site allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive grant opportunities from all Federal grant-making agencies.

The charter of Grants.gov, one of 24 President’s Management Agenda E-Government initiatives, is to provide a simple, unified electronic storefront for interactions between grant applicants and the Federal agencies that manage grant funds. There are 26 Federal grant-making agencies and over 900 individual grant programs that award over $350 billion in grants each year. The grant community, including state, local and tribal governments, academia and research institutions, and not-for-profits, need only visit one website, Grants.gov, to access the annual grant funds available across the Federal government.

Grants.gov Customer Support

Grants.gov Customer Support is available to assist organizations with the registration and application processes when applying for Federal grants through the Grants.gov web site. They are able to help with all steps of applying for a grant, except for any agency specific questions such as what kind of grant they qualify for or what specific information to fill in the application.

Applicants can either call or email their questions to Grants.gov Customer Support.
