Historical Population Estimates Data

Data includes five tables showing five year age categories (50+, 55+, etc.) with percentages, rankings, and two national maps. A sixth table with data on the 60+ alone is used in the Older Americans Act formula grants (Titles III and VII). These tables are also available as an Excel spreadsheet files for downloading. The data (except for 2000) are estimates as of July 1 for each year except for the 2000 Census (100% data) which was as of April 1.
