Paying for Postage
You have several easy, convenient ways to pay for postage.
Whether you want to use cash, or have the added convenience of being able to pay directly from your bank account, we offer you several postage payment options.

Automatic Deduction from your Bank with ACH Debit
ACH Debit allows the United States Postal Service® to debit your bank account and put postage directly into your meter. You have your postage within minutes but your account isn't debited until the next day! Why let money sit in a low interest holding account when you can keep it in your own account until you need postage? ACH accounts are preferable for mailing volumes averaging $1,000/month or more.

Choose which Bank Account to pay from with ACH Credit
ACH Credit lets your bank do all the work by crediting your postage account from the account of your choice. Works overnight and there's no need for prior arrangements!

Transfer Money from your Bank with Federal Wire
FedWire sends money directly from your bank and is another fast way to credit your postage account. This is the most frequently used option for very large postage needs. Again, no prior arrangements are necessary.

Use Cash, Credit Card or Check
You can also pay for postage using these more traditional methods:

Cash - Paying with cash at the Post Office™ is quick and easy.
Credit Card - Paying for postage with your credit card in person or online is convenient, quick and safe.
Check - Paying with a check gives you a record of your postage payments. Personal checks require two forms of ID. Traveler’s checks can be used with a minimum purchase of half the value of the check.
