Fires & Emergencies

Currently there are no wildfires or emergencies on the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests, Thunder Basin National Grassland. When prescribed burns, wild land fires, and weather and road emergencies occur, this is where we will provide up-to-date information.

Restrictions & Closures

There may be some restriction or closure orders in effect. The Regional Forester and Forest Supervisors may issue orders that restrict or close the use of certain areas if needed. For more information contact the local Ranger District.

Roads

Access to forest and grassland roads and trails remains open. Don't be delayed on the road! Check road reports for the Rocky Mountain area.
