GSA recently released a new version of e-Buy that provides a faster, more efficient Request for Quotations (RFQ) process. The e-Buy electronic system allows federal customers to prepare RFQs online for services and products offered through GSA's Multiple Award Schedule program. The redesign took into consideration customers’ comments and suggestions as well as user group input.

The new version contains the following enhancements:

• A new message center is located on the main menu to notify buyers of relevant e-Buy activity.
• Schedule vendors can submit a “no quote” response and note their reason.
• Buyers, performing market research for sources, can designate an RFQ as “sources sought.”
• Buyers can forward an RFQ to another indiviual for approval or payment.
