Operating Permit Program

The Operating Permit Program is designed to clarify, in a single document, which requirements apply to a source for the purpose of enhancing compliance with the Clean Air Act. This program implements Title V of the Clean Air Act and applies primarily to large facilities and may be implemented by states, tribes, or EPA.
