(CO)-is a colorless, odorless, and at high levels, a poisonous gas, formed when carbon in fuel is not burned completely. It is a component of motor vehicle exhaust, which contains about sixty percent of all CO emissions nationwide. Other sources of CO emissions include industrial process, non-transportation fuel combustion, and natural sources of wildfire. Some effects of Carbon Monoxide includes visual impairment, reduced work capacity, reduced manual dexterity, poor learning ability, and difficulty in performing difficult tasks.
