National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Southeastern/Atlantic Region (NN/LM-SE/A)
What's New
The September/October 2004 issue of SEA Currents is available for your review - http://nnlm.gov/sea/seacurrents/2004/5/main.html
October is National Medical Librarians Month, and the Southeastern Atlantic Regional Medical Library is calling attention to the work of hospital librarians by sending a letter to hospital administrators, informing them about this work and congratulating them for supporting it. If you would like to have this letter sent to your hospital administrators, follow this link. http://nnlm.gov/sea/outreach/advocacy1.html
The RML is in the process of updating state pages to include more customized information about demographics, statistics, sources of news, health resources, medical libraries and their supporting organizations, special populations, and other resources that may be helpful for the grant or subcontract writer. Currently, the Maryland and Virginia pages have been completed and are available for perusal at http://nnlm.gov/sea/state/index.html. Other state pages will follow in the next year and a half, as we will issue alerts as more progress is made.
