Facilities Managers Are Invited To Attend An Energy Summit On Contingency Planning Scheduled For New York City

GSA's Northeast and Caribbean Region, Energy Center of Expertise, and Office of Citizen Services and Communications are sponsoring an Energy Summit designed to help facilities managers and owners identify important issues related to successful energy contingency planning. The Summit will take place in New York City on November 4, 2004 and will address issues such as the feasibility of obtaining reliable energy services during and after a crisis. The workshop will focus on energy security from multiple viewpoints and will also highlight energy efficiency and utility deregulation in a post-9/11 world. Target audiences include federal and non-federal property managers.
