The publication was a collaborative effort of the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE), The Marrow Foundation and the National Marrow Donor Program.

The guide is designed to help patients and their families understand their bone marrow transplant health insurance coverage, learn about financial resources and develop a financial plan for bone marrow transplant expenses.
