In 1999, the Northeastern Area State Aviation Committee
(NASAC) sponsored the first-ever national workshop for State aviation
managers. Subsequently the Southeastern Region formed a similar
committee, and sponsored a meeting in Orlando, FL. The Western
Region has followed suit, and last year the national workshop was
held in California.
In 2004, the group returned to the Northeast, meeting
in Atlantic City, NJ, under the sponsorship of the New Jersey Forest
Fire Service. Many topics of discussion were presented, and
items on concern addressed.
The various PowerPoint presentations are available
here, and a briefing paper identifying issues of concern will be
posted as soon as it is available.
