FIRSTGOV.GOV CONNECTS YOU TO UNCLE SAM

The Internet has made life a lot easier. But sometimes, all the information available online can be overwhelming. Well, Uncle Sam has organized the information you need in one easy-to-find place. FirstGov.gov , the official portal to the U.S. Government, links you to millions of pages featuring helpful services and information from federal, state and local government.

When you visit FirstGov.gov the homepage is set up especially to help you find all the information you need on the programs, benefits and services of the U.S. government. And it's available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. You don't have to go searching through hundreds of web pages, wait in long lines or linger on hold on the phone.

Want to reserve a camp site at a national park? Change your address with the U.S. Postal Service? Use FirstGov.gov's “Online Services” page. See FirstGov.gov's “News and Features” section to learn more about the current flu season or the features of the new $20 bill.

Interested in buying surplus government property? FirstGov.Gov's “Shopping and Auctions” page organizes all of the federal government's sales of property, real estate, cars, souvenirs, books, gifts, and auctions in one easy to read and navigate page. You'll find items that were seized by the U.S. Customs Service, memorabilia from museums and presidential libraries, and more.

FirstGov.gov also features information specifically for Federal employees, businesses and non-profits, and other governments. Just select the tab for your group and you'll be linked to the information you need.
