NEW RESOURCES FOR SPANISH-SPEAKING CITIZENS

If your first language isn't English, where can you turn for great government information that can help you with day-to-day life?

The new, free Lista de publicaciones federales en español para el consumidor from GSA's Federal Consumer Information Center (FCIC) features more than 200 free government publications, all written in Spanish, and tells you how to get copies directly from the agencies that publish them. Get the information you need on how to save money, eat right, stay healthy, take care of your kids, travel safely, and much more.

And you can now access the Lista online at http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov/cic_text/misc/lista/lista.htm or by visiting FCIC's homepage, www.pueblo.gsa.gov and clicking on the blue "Spanish Resources Page" link. Not only will you find all of the great publications the Lista has to offer, but also you'll be linked to nearly 200 federal Spanish-language web sites-all organized by topic in one easy-to-find place. Use live links to the Social Security Administration to request your earnings report and benefits statement. Get information on student loans from the Department of Education. Find out about dangerous product recalls at the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

If you need information in other languages, FCIC can help you there too. Just click on the blue "Multi-Language Gateway" link at www.pueblo.gsa.gov and get great federal information in 24 different languages.
