Personal Property Disposal Personal Property Center
Typewriters, folklift, and cabinet

The GSA Personal Property Center (PPC) is an excellent alternative for federal agencies facing property disposal dilemmas. The PPC, located just outside Washington, DC, in Springfield, Virginia, primarily serves the greater Washington area, including eastern Maryland and Virginia, but is open to the entire East Coast. In effect, the PPC acts as a repository for deliveries of unneeded property from federal agencies looking for smart disposal solutions.

For an affordable fee, the PPC takes full accountability and control of an agency's excess property the moment it is received. Just imagine avoiding the cumbersome tasks of managing outside screenings, customer visits, and storage -- the PPC does it all.  That's right, the PPC handles all of the details of the utilization, donation, and sales processes.  It's that easy. The PPC regularly offers the usable property to federal offices, state offices, and eligible nonprofit groups at no cost. The receiving customer simply pays the transport charges. That's it!

Co-located with the PPC is the GSA Surplus Sales Center -- a key program for "online" auctions, vehicle sales, and other negotiated sales, and the GSA Furniture Reclamation Center -- an important resource for restored furniture, new furniture and other design solutions.  Don't miss the opportunities that abound from a visit to the PPC -- just two miles off U.S. Route 395/95 in Springfield, Virginia, Exit 169A - a place that can solve your most complicated property needs.

The GSA Personal Property Center is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
