The e-VETS Resource Advisor assists veterans preparing to enter the job market. It includes information on a broad range
of topics, such as job search tools and tips, employment openings, career assessment, education and training, and benefits and
special services available to veterans.
The e-VETS Resource Advisor was created to help veterans and their family members sort through the vast amount of
information available on the Internet. Based on your personal profile and/or the various services you select, the e-VETS
Resource Advisor will provide a list of Web site links most relevant to your specific needs and interests.
The e-VETS Resource Advisor is one of several elaws Advisors developed by
the US Department of Labor to help employees and employers understand their rights and responsibilities under numerous Federal
employment laws. The e-VETS Resource Advisor has two sections: General Services and Personal Profile.
You are encouraged to use both sections to achieve the best results.
This section lists general services that may be of interest to veterans preparing for the job market. You will be
asked to choose which of these services you wish to learn more about. Based on your selections, the Advisor will produce
a list of Web sites of specific interest to you. Major categories include:

This section asks you to provide information about your military and personal characteristics (i.e., whether you are a disabled
veteran or military conflict veteran; your branch of service; your sex and/or age; if you have any barriers to employment; etc.) Based
on the information you provide, the e-VETS Resource Advisor will produce a list of Web site links of specific interest to you.
