American Health Quality Association
The American Health Quality Association represents organizations and healthcare professionals working to improve patient safety and the quality of healthcare nationwide.

American Medical Association

Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER)
A division of the Food and Drug Administration that promotes and protects the health of Americans by assuring that all prescription and over-the-counter drugs are safe and effective. CDER evaluates all new drugs before they are sold, and serves as a consumer watchdog for the more than 10,000 drugs on the market to be sure they continue to meet the highest standards.

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
Formerly known as the Health Care Financing Administration. The official U.S. Government site for information about Medicare, Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SHIP).

Department of Health and Human Services
The Department of Health and Human Services is the United States government's principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves. Americans say they generally know what will make them healthier, but they are confused about what specific information is credible and accurate. HealthierUS.gov is designed to be a source of credible, accurate information to help Americans choose to live healthier lives.

You'll find health information in Spanish and other languages.

National Library of Medicine
The National Library of Medicine, on the campus of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, is the world's largest medical library. The Library collects materials in all areas of Biomedicine and health care.
