new meeting  OCT 28th (Thursday) – Career Opportunities in Meteorology and

                                Atmospheric Science!

This is a NYC/LI American Meteorological Society Chapter meeting to bring students and future students interested in meteorology and atmospheric sciences together with a diverse group of professionals, as well as the Chapter members.  There will be a light meal served, followed by presentation and a panel discussion.

LOCATION: Marine Science Center Conference Room at SUNY at Stony Brook

DIRECTIONS: Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE, I-495) eastbound to exit 62, and follow Nicoll’s Road (Route 97) north for 9 miles. Continue past the intersection with Route 347 and the entrance to the Marine Science Center (MSRC) at SUNY at Stony Brook will be about 1 1/2 miles up on the left (South Entrance). Make the left into the South entrance and you will be on South Drive. Proceed 1/4 mile on South Drive, past the Dental Clinic, to the T section with Forest Drive. Make a right onto Forest Drive and then travel 1000 ft, you will see a bus stop on the right side. Make a right turn after the bus stop, and then a quick right at the “T” intersection. Travel past the Dental School (on the right), and at the end of the next parking lot will be Endeavor Hall, where the MSRC Conference Room is located.  Parking is unrestricted after 4 PM.
